Non-viable non-candidate Sarah Palin announced yesterday that her husband Todd has 'gone rogue' in endorsing Newt Gingrich for President, thus fulfilling her contractual obligation to mention the title of one of her books in every interview she ever does. It's like she knows America By Heart!
Although Palin herself hasn't endorsed anyone, she told Fox Business News that she was proud of her husband (who she is still calling the "First Dude") for publicly endorsing a candidate. She said,
First Dude went rogue. Todd is all about hardhats and steel-toed boots and getting people to work, that's what he represented and worked very hard for as First Gentleman in our state.
If there's any candidate who elicits images of hard hats or steel toed boots, it would definitely be McMansion dwelling career politician Newt Gingrich. Good call, King Snow Machine.
In spite of his role in beginning a chain of events that resulted in the unleashing of Sarah Palin, Todd Palin, Bristol Palin, Levi Johnston, Levi Johnston's sister, and Meghan McCain as a voice of political commentary and analysis, John McCain still insists he has no regrets and that choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate was the best decision he'd ever made.
