When you're a network executive, and a major advocacy group is upset that one of your shows is offensive to trans people, the best course of action might be — at the very least — to compose a thoughtful and well-reasoned response. Or, you could be like ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee, who responded to GLAAD's criticisms of awful-looking show Work It by saying, "I didn't get it, but maybe it's me." Yes, Mr. Lee — it's you.
