Dana Zemack has been making stick figure comics since she was 12. This week, she made one just for us.
This past Tuesday evening, a plane-size asteroid flew by, around 202,000 miles from the surface of the earth. Do you know the last time an asteroid that big came that close to us? 1976. According to the New York Times, scientists have known about it for six years. Six years? If I had been properly notified of this I would have flown my kite on Wednesday or sometime during the nineties.
