By now, we've all realized that it's the Europeans who get the very best television commercials. By best, I mean the most sex-filled, NSFW, would-never-pass-in-America kind of commercials. Given how common these racy commercials are abroad, this one from European Foot Locker shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. Yet still, watching men and women orgasming over putting on a pair of sneakers is a little...much? (Our American puritanical roots are showing, ugh.)

Perhaps more shocking than the actual video is its ready availability. It's impossible to miss on the first thing you see on Foot Locker Europe's homepage, which asks viewers to submit photos of what their own "sneaker thing" is. My sneaker thing, I guess, would be attempting to keep my balance as I run publicly on a treadmill at the gym. Really, this campaign might work better for a luxury brand of shoes like Manolos, but I understand — it takes all kinds.
