  • Project Runway is getting sued for alleged copyright violations. A Missouri photographer named Marcie Cobbaert alleges that Lifetime posted portraits that she'd taken of contestant Laura Kathleen Planck on its website — and that it added a watermark that indicated the shots belonged to Lifetime. Cobbaert says she did not give permission to Planck, Lifetime or parent company A&E to use the photos, and twice warned the network not to publish them in writing. Cobbaert is seeking damages of up to $180,000 per infringement. [WWD]
  • Miranda Kerr says her birth experience was more painful than she had expected because doctors hadn't warned her that she was carrying a monster-mega-ginormous (nearly) 10lb baby. "My doctor miscalculated and she thought he would be seven to eight pounds max and he was almost 10 pounds. I decided to not have any pain medication and they had to induce me." Kerr has previously said that during labor, she thought she would die. "I was eating so much and my grandma was like, 'Love, you had better stop eating. You're going to make a big baby and I don't know how you are going to push it out.' I was like, 'Nan, it's fine,' but she was the only one who knew." [SMH]
