Woman Sentenced To Three Years In Prison For A Crime Straight Out Of A Lifetime Movie

In a case straight out of a Lifetime movie, Alaskan woman Rachelle Waterman has been sentenced to three years in prison after she was found guilty of arranging to have two ex-boyfriends kill her mother.

She was just 16-years-old when she was accused and has since been found guilty of "criminally negligent homicide."

Prosecutors say the guilty verdict means that Waterman should have known that Jason Arrant and Brian Radel, both 24 at the time, posed a substantial risk to her mother.

No word yet on whether or not Melissa Joan Hart is available to play the role of Waterman, but we remain optimistic.
