The cheerleaders at Jackson High School in Everett, WA, have probably been watching a lot of Dazed And Confused lately.
The group of girls were suspended after a series of hazing rituals that included "shooting new recruits with squirt guns, hitting them with hot dogs, and forcing them to wear diapers":
Everett School District said in a statement: "When students make poor choices, it is disappointing to us, just as it is disappointing to parents. We hope, as parents do, that each action with appropriate consequences is a positive learning experience."
No surprise here, several parents of the accused have tried to overturn the suspension but have not been successful.
