Ted Kaczynski has lost his battle to prevent U.S. Marshals from auctioning his personal effects online, so if you collect memorabilia from murderers serving life sentences, you're in luck. Kaczynski's driver's licenses, birth certificates, checks, academic transcripts, typewriters, and "more than 20,000 pages of written documents, including the original handwritten and typewritten versions" of his infamous manifesto will be sold. The proceeds will be used to pay off the $15 million owed to his victims, but we still don't know why anyone would buy the Unabomber's stuff when they could spend their hard-earned cash on Princess Beatrice's hat or the Dude's sweater.
