This morning on Today, Nene Leakes discussed her early departure from Celebrity Apprentice—having abruptly quit the show after developing a harsh rivalry with Star Jones—saying she actually left because of the philosophy behind a domestic abuse slogan for women: "If the situation isn't good, you get out." The charity for which NeNe had been playing was the Atlanta Mission in Support of My Sister's House, a shelter for women and children of domestic abuse. By the time she left, she was the only remaining contestant who had not won any money for her cause. The irony in NeNe's domestic abuse excuse is that she, in fact, was the aggressor in the situation with Star Jones (as well as in a previous confrontation with La Toya Jackson).
