Meredith Viera Expected To Leave Today Show

Katie Couric isn't the only anchor set to leave her high-profile job. Meredith Vieira is reportedly planning to leave the Today Show when her contract expires in September. NBC executives want her to stay, but things don't look good. She only extended her contract for one year when it was up last year, and in October she said, "I'll know when it's time to go, and I'm not afraid to go ... If I were to leave at the end of next year because it's time for me, I wouldn't jump into another show. I would look forward to not working, to traveling with (husband) Richard and carving out time for us. You're always doing something, if you are curious. It doesn't have to be a 9-to-5 job."
