Woman Makes NCAA History By Scoring 2,000th Point

Courtney Vandersloot of Gonzaga University has become the first NCAA Division 1 basketball player, male or female, to reach 2,000 points and 1,000 assists. Suzie McConnell held the previous record for points by a player with 1,000 assists — she scored 1,897. The closest man is Bobby Hurley, with 1,076 assists and 1,731 points.
