Teva, the manufacturer of Plan B, has asked the FDA to let it sell its emergency contraception over the counter to all ages. (Currently, anyone under 17 needs a prescription.) Meanwhile, the Center For Reproductive Rights is still suing the FDA to explain the medical reason for withholding over the counter access to teens under 17. Hint: There isn't one.
