There's Always Money In A Movie About A Banana Stand

Fans of Tobias Funke's 100% Natural Good Time Family Band Solution, rejoice: rumor has it that the long-awaited Arrested Development movie will be out by the end of 2011. I just blue myself.

Fans of the show may be a little gun shy about celebrating just yet; after all, we've endured dozens of false alarms, David Cross saying the movie would never happen, Michael Cera's overexposure reaching critical mass, and the end of the Bush Administration without the film coyly hinted in the show's final episode. Many die hard fans started giving up hope, but not me. Like the girl who has watched every episode three thousand times would give up hope. COME ON.

We finally have something sort of concrete sounding that isn't just getting drunk and saying "Her?" over and over and laughing hysterically while other partygoers find excuses to leave the room. Show creator Mitch Hurwitz told Digital Spy that a movie was in the works and would hopefully be out by the end of 2011. Did you hear that, guys? HOPEFULLY.

No touching!
