Rumor-Plagued Giada Says She Loves Being A "Traditional" Wife

Latest

Giada de Laurentiis tells Redbook that at home, she’s all about “traditional roles.” Is this her way of fighting back against those cheating rumors?

Says the Food Network star,

I think it can be hard for any man to sometimes be upstaged by his wife. So when I’m home, I work very hard to be Todd’s wife and Jade’s mother. I have no problem going back to those traditional roles.

She adds,

I try to be Giada, the young girl that he met 20 years ago and fell in love with. All men want to be treated like kings in a relationship, and I think if women don’t indulge that sometimes, their men are likely to stray and look for someone who can give that to them.

Did de Laurentiis attend the Rielle Hunter School of Relationship Science? Or perhaps the New York Post School of Rich-Ladies-Will-End-Up-Miserable-And-Alone? Then again, maybe her sudden interest in “traditional roles” is a calculated move. People mentions Giada’s rumored affair with John Mayer — and Star‘s blind item about the “married TV star […] getting spicy with yet another side dish” seemed to have Giada written all over it. Maybe the chef is less worried about stopping her man from straying, and more concerned about keeping her own image squeaky-clean.
