Sum 41 Singer Hospitalized After Attack In JapanS

  • Deryck Whibley of the band Sum 41, who some of you might recognize as Avril Lavigne's ex-husband, was attacked last night in Japan, according to his band mates:

"Deryck Whibley was attacked in a bar last night by 3 unknown people," his band mates posted on Twitter, "He is in the hospital now. Japanese police are looking into the matter." Later, the band confirmed Whibley was "still in the hospital." [DigitalSpy]
