Sarah Palin Does Not Have Implants, Finds The Speculation "Ridiculous"

Sarah Palin's response to what is now known as "Boob Gate" included a few shots at bloggers and the mainstream media (particularly women) for paying attention to such a ridiculous topic, but her most revealing response was this one:

Yes, I think it's pretty ridiculous. And what it does, it ends up ultimately wasting time and wasting people's energies. Here's an example of how it kind of wastes some time. To be judged on or to be talked about on appearance, say chest size — it makes me wear layers. It makes me have to waste time figuring out, What am I going to wear so that nobody will look in a area that I don't need them to look at? I want them to hear what it is that I'm saying. It ends up wasting time and that's just very, very unfortunate.

I don't agree with any of Palin's politics, but the fact that she admitted that she felt the need to cover her chest so that people would listen to what she had to say struck me as very honest and depressing. There are a million things to discuss about Sarah Palin: her breasts aren't one of them. However, should you choose to continue to talk about Palin's non-implants, she has a suggestion for you: "grab a shovel, go down to the gulf, volunteer to help, clean up and save a whale or something."
