Bill Cunningham, the venerable street photographer, is an unlikely fashion institution, and the premiere of Bill Cunningham New York, at the Museum of Modern Art, brought out a ton of happy heavy hitters.
The ridiculous thing is, the photo agencies didn't even see fit to give us a pic of Cunningham himself, so I took the liberty of including this older one, from fashion week. For those who aren't familiar with Cunningham's amazing eye (as evinced by his New York Times column and excellent podcasts, as well as his large body of work), he's a true original as well as a great character.
