Remember Past Fashion? You may recall that we stopped doing it (I got lazy). For those who don't remember: it was a monthly feature in which readers sent in photos of amazing past fashions.

In fact, the course of a few months last year, readers sent in photos for galleries on everything from "retro" black hairstyles, to Easter outfits, childhood pets, bridal fashions, prom dresses, summer swimsuits, sports uniforms, school portraits, and Halloween costumes. Now, not only are we bringing the feature back, but we're making it decade-specific: the 1980s. And as you can see from the image above left, I'm going first. (School year 1986-87. Grade: 8th. Here's what to do: Send in scans of your best or worst 80s-era photos to photos@jezebel.com by Friday, May 15. Please include the year, location, your first name or commenter name, and - this is important - a brief description of your memories of the photo and the era. We'll be putting up the gallery in late May, while also announcing the theme for June's edition. Oh, and while you're at it, check out the galleries from last year, below; some of your favorite commenters may be featured.
