The 7th Annual TV Land Awards in L.A., as one might expect, brought out the blasts from the past. And some were way more welcome that others...

The Good:

Vivica A. Fox brings just enough 80's-style power glitz to the R.C.!

Holland Taylor is among my favorite "WASP mom" character actors (along, of course, with Jessica Walter and Susan Sullivan) and this demure LBD is classic elegance.

I like Alex Kingston's beachy cerulean dress, and really like her au naturel curly 'do.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus channels Mad Men fab.

Reba also knows the benefits of mid-century glam.

Linda Cardellini's fun belt makes the dress.

Katey Sagal is chic, classic, and totally un-Bundy.

The Bad:

Loretta Swit takes the attitude if one sparkle is good, two is better!

When it comes to Patricia Richardson: Pros: suits are elegant; this one is well-fitted. Cons: Buttons. Sleeves. I fear the shades kinda make the decision.

The matching bows make Stacey Anderson's ensemble a bit frilly...

What Say You?

Red carpet fixture Kat Kramer is always kind of endearingly dowdy, but is this wacky-good, or wacky-crazy?

Lisa Hartman Black: space oddity or space odyssey?

Is Donna Mills Dynasty fab, or time warp fail?
