Oh, sadness! Chordettes singer Nancy Overton, who joined the group in 1958, has died of esophageal cancer at the age of 83. A small tribute to her lovely voice, and her group, after the jump.
In fairness, "Never On Sunday" was the only song Overton originally sang on, but I love the Chordettes so much that I couldn't help posting their other hits, which Overton sang along with the band after she joined in the late 50's:
