Toni Collette is a suburban mother with multiple personality disorder in The United States of Tara. It's very Cody-esque: Full of slang, with a tone and dialogue that will polarize an audience.

Collette acts the shit out of the (multiple personality) roles, one of whom is a 15-year-old named "T" who is friends with Tara's teenage daughter, hits on Tara's son, and says wildly inappropriate things to Tara's husband, which make for funny moments. The idea for the show is great, but watching this family be totally cool and accepting of their mother's multiple personality disorder as just a quirk instead of a traumatic experience is the same kind of unrealistic idealism displayed in Juno. So in that sense, suspension of disbelief is required for enjoyment.
