Are you sick of celebrity memoirs? Apparently, you're not alone: the Times is reporting that many celebrity memoirs are being thrown in the bargain bins, as readers are growing tired of their often shallow stories.

Burned out on extravagant celebrity lifestyles and tired of reality star stories, customers seem to be stepping away from the memoirs of fame and fortune. As Nielson Book Scan's Andre Breedt tells the Times, "Trade non-fiction – the category for celebrity autobiographies – is down about 3 per cent year on year at the moment, although this contrasts with a particularly strong year last year. People just don't seem to be buying at the moment." [Times Online]
