2009 Golden Globes: Good Year For Jokers, Midnight Tokers

The nominees for the 2009 Golden Globes were announced this morning, and there were a few surprises.

The nomination of Tom Cruise for Tropic Thunder drew giggles from the crowd, as did James Franco's nod for Pinapple Express. Apparently, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association thought Franco's performance as a lovable pot dealer was much more powerful than his portrayal of Harvey Milk's lover. Check out the rest of the nominations (and spot the snubs) after the jump.
