Today's ads may not be great, but surely they're a step up from the ads that Blog Of Hilarity as deemed "The 9 Most Disturbingly Misogynistic Old Print Ads" of all time. Among the offenders? Several "wifey is happy when she's cleaning!" spots, as well as this seriously creepy "VD" ad from World War II, upon which Blog Of Hilarity notes, "You hear that ladies? Your vagina is a cess pool. I also hear that some of you have bear traps installed inside of you so that when a guy has sex with you, WHAM, bear trap. The vagina is a crafty beast, my friends."
