No, literally! The red carpet, at Grauman's Chinese Theature in Hollywood, was full of all these trees and all this fake snow! But in terms of the clothes, it was pretty decent: Star Reese Witherspoon did her Grace Kelly thing, Sissy Spacek was legend-elegant, Minnie Driver was hippie-chic cute. Of course there were some false notes, and one outfit so bizarre I leave the final decision up to you: Good or Bad? Cast your votes, after the jump.

The Good:
According to Vogue, Reese has this whole new look, indicated by her Nina Ricci collaboration. She looks chic, but I gotta say: I like her looking a little softer.


Mary Steenburgen plays it safe — but why not?


Karate-esque? Perhaps. But Sissy Spacek's shoes keep this comfy ensemble RC-apropos.


I'm not saying I'd want to sit down in this, but Minnie Driver looks cool.



The Bad:
Frankly, I think Katy Mixon's pink slip (!) would work better if the neckline were more open.


To quote Nina Garcia, "tight, short and shiny..." and I think Karina Smirnoff can fill in the end.
