You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown is a Peanuts TV movie that originally aired in the early 1970s. It features a student council election that Charlie Brown intended on running in, but he was proven to be an unpopular candidate from the first day out. His campaign manager, Lucy, ditched him and instead backed her little brother Linus, who was initially doing really well in the polls leading up to the election. But when it was time for him to make his final speech, he almost blew the whole thing by trying to force his faith on his constituents: His belief in the Great Pumpkin. Clip above.
