In 1976, Hollywood Squares star Paul Lynde had a Halloween special on network TV that was aired only once and never seen again, until its recent release on DVD. The show featured a who's who of pop culture icons (Kiss, Tim Conway, Pinky Tuscadero from Happy Days), and a bevy of famous older women gay icons — most definitely hand-picked by Lynde — like Betty White, Margaret Hamilton (the witch from Wizard of Oz), Florence Henderson, and Billie Hayes (Witchiepoo from H.R. Pufnstuf). In the clip above, Kiss perform their first of three songs for Paul and his coven of witches.
