Hillary Clinton and Barbara Walters headlined a gala for the Feminist Press on Monday night. The evening's honoree was CUNY vice chancellor Iris Weinshall, and Walters and Clinton had a veritable lovefest on the dais. According to Mediabistro, Walters described Clinton as "caring, touching, and real." Then Clinton got up on stage, endorsed Barack Obama, and said "It is important that anything with the word 'feminist' be celebrated." We couldn't agree more, however we are miffed that we were not invited to this feminist fiesta. Why you gotta snub us, Feminist Press? [Mediabistro]
