Tina Fey could not be any hotter now if her glasses were on fire. Her Feyness is going to be shot by Annie Leibovitz for the cover of Vanity Fair. Radar says it's unclear which issue will contain Fey's adorable visage, but in the meantime she's gracing the cover of this week's TV Guide. Tina has all sorts of clever and charming things to say about Sarah Palin, Oprah, 30 Rock and gluing her ears down. On Playing Sarah Palin:
I stand by the pieces as both fair and quite gentle…We glue my ears down. That’s one of the tricks…I’ll tell you, that lady is five times better-looking than I am. She’s 44? She’s got none of that droopy shit. She’s keeping it tight!
On Oprah::
This would never have happened if Oprah was not such a woman of her word. I think anyone else would have been like, ‘Oh, come on, I’m not doing that.’ Plus, I think Gayle [King] is a fan of the show, which helped.”
On Her Comedy-Loving Childhood:
Growing up, I would watch anything with a red brick wall behind it. I loved it. But I always said if I ever tried it, I wouldn’t want to half-ass it.
30 Rock Co-star Alec Baldwin on Tina:
She got me to play a Republican! She is so much less vain and self-absorbed than most. So many actresses are high-maintenance. But she doesn’t bring that neurosis.
