National Review writer Kathleen Parker calls liberal feminists the "hirsute, Birkenstock-wearing sisterhood," and, in a 2003 column supporting the Iraq war, included a letter from a "friend" who said, "These bastards like Clark and Kerry and that incipient ass, Dean, and Gephardt and Kucinich and that absolute mental midget Sharpton, race baiter, should all be lined up and shot." Well, after Kathleen called for Palin to step down last week, those "friends" have been sending some hateful messages her way. Parker went on Colbert last night to talk about 12,000 emails she got in response to her anti-Palin column. "One said my mother should have aborted me and left me in a dumpster," Parker said. To which Colbert replied, "Why would your mother write that?" Clip above.
