On last night's episode of Mad Men, Betty Draper found herself inappropriately touched by two males: her father (who, after suffering from a stroke, thought Betty was his dead wife), and the depressed neighbor boy, to whom she relates in a weird way. When the boy's mother, Helen — the only divorced woman in the neighborhood — stopped by to talk about what was going on, Betty realized that she had a lot in common with Helen, too. As the two women discussed being single mothers, they both realized that the hardest part of separation is not living without a husband, but being first in command. Clip above.
