Clay Aiken is suddenly a lot more likeable. It's not just because he's finally stated the obvious, but because of how he's handling it. In an interview with Diane Sawyer that aired on Good Morning America earlier today, Clay said that he's not making any kind of announcement because, duh, we all knew he was gay. He said that he just wants to end questions about his personal life because he doesn't want his son growing up thinking that he's lying or ashamed about who he is. The best part about all this? Clay isn't trying to sell some shitty new CD or book, he's just engaging in a genuine discourse about tolerance. Clip above.
