Born in the Midwest, Nanette Lepore traveled a lot with her family as a kid and says it gave her a "gypsy spirit." This is reflected in her clothes, which have a detailed chicness one would associate with an international line. For Spring 2009, Nanette Lepore's collection was heavy on the florals, shown with muted stripes and ruffles.
