She may be 66 years old, but Betsey Johnson has always been young at heart. Her designs consistently showcase whimsy, ruffles, tulle and a playful girlishness that she herself exhibits by doing a signature cartwheel on the runway at the end of a show. For Spring 2009, Betsey's kooky vision is part Gothic Lolita, part "let's run away with the circus!" and part Scarlett O'Hara: The Lean Years. With some pirate booty thrown in.
