In 1882, the Central Labor Union (of New York City) sought to create "a day off for the working citizens." And in 1894, Labor Day became a federal holiday in the U.S. So happily, some of us have a three day weekend! Time to celebrate. And, of course, time to thank the sponsors who make taking a day off possible. This week, many, many thanks to: Cringe (Crown Publishing), Hotflops, Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, Nextbook, Puma, SOAPNet, Starwood Hotels, Unscrew America. Come dance a jig of joy with us!
