People are always like, "Why is The Hills such a successful show? Why does anyone care about these people?" I really don't know for sure, but after watching last night's episode, I think I've come to the conclusion that maybe we just like to feel happy that we aren't these people. We actually have fun with our friends. And we actually even like our friends. And we actually have conversations with the people we know about things other than how we don't like our friends and can't talk to them. Although, in the clip above, Spencer does seem to have a grasp of the ABC's of Middle East conflicts.
