So we already know that Mad Men's Don Draper has the perfect American Dream life that he tries to sell to people through advertising at Sterling Cooper, but he isn't really that happy with it. The women he philanders with are usually nothing like his wife — assertive, ballsy, independent, never blonde. But sometimes assertive women get tired of always being so damn assertive and, just like Don's wife Betty said about the horses she rides, sometimes "they like to be told what to do." So on last night's episode, when he had that altercation with the Jerry Lewis-ish guy's manager/wife and grabbed herhair and vagina, it was at once threatening and thrilling. Clip above.
