There was a solar eclipse today, and it was supposedly visible in China. I called my friend in Hong Kong this morning (7 am my time; 7 pm his time) and asked if he could see it. "We can't see anything because there's too much smog," he said. But! There should be another total eclipse in 2009, and it's totally gonna look like this. And one in 2012. (More info at NASA.)
