    Magic Wand

Estée Lauder is releasing a battery-operated, vibrating mascara called the TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara, that will be sold exclusively at Saks starting in July. Fashionista asked why a mascara wand would need to vibrate. We know why! Because when you apply mascara, you aren't supposed to just sweep it upward onto your lash. You actually need to wiggle it from side-to-side as you pull it up, so as to thoroughly comb the goop between each lash. The idea of a vibrating applicator is a little opulent, but we're not gonna knock it until we try it. [Fasionista]
