A new documentary will answer everything you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask, about panda sex. Wild China: Land of the Panda, the BBC's first production in conjunction with Chinese state television, is the only program to capture the panda courtship and mating rituals in all their noisy glory, reports the Telegraph. The paper describes the panda sex sounds as "extraordinary vocalisations," and producer Gavin Maxwell says "The sounds are so unlikely and just the last thing you would expect a panda to make."
