I love Kim! I was totally rooting for her during whatever cycle that was. Her offing was bullshit, especially as Horseface McGee won, and where is she now, huh?

Tyra makes The Soup worth watching. I just saw the one where she is a self nominated Homecoming Queen. But how do people watch her for more than 2 minutes? That would be torture.

Lately I have been watching reruns of ANTM - the marathons on MTV or whatevs- and was ALMOST rekindling some warmth for Tyra. but no...

OK-- that set-up was misleading, SM. TyTy didn't give her a cold diss. She just told her that she would have to get in touch with the TyTy through her people.

The best part of the clip-- when Tyra approaches her and says, "Where's the camera?" It's pretty much the only sentence she ever has to verbalize in her life.

Kim was one of the few non-caricatures/people who couldn't be humiliated by producers on the show and she had kick-ass photos.

So glad I can ready Elyse's blog and see what corner of Asia she's in and I was thrilled to see Kim on MTV.

I didn't like Kim, but good for her success. That reminds me of Dave Holmes, who was first runner-up on MTV's Wanna Be a VJ contest ten years ago, and hosts various things on TV, while the winner, Jesse Camp, disppeared after a year.

i am stunned by how different she looks. kim was one of the most fun girls on ANTM. ever. i wish that there were new contestants that made the show that interesting still. sigh.

@Skinny Bone Jones: I've done red carpets with Kim before and it's like she's extremely worried about coming off ass 'too lesbian for MTV.' The last time I saw her, she was fretting about how she forgot to take off her blue nail polish. Seems like someone in MTV news scared her a little bit into thinking that if she's too gay, she'll lose her job. Sad.
