I love that the twins aren't dressed exactly alike. As a twin, this is my biggest beef with Jon and Kate Plus 8. Really, my only beef with Jon and Kate Plus 8.

@Rhody: I give Jon and Kate a pass. If you have 8 kids, why should you have to come up with 8 different outfits? Buying (and dressing) in bulk is just easier.

I appreciate that her kids aren't in, like, sized-down Burberry or something. They look like normal kiddies.

@CorporateTool: That dawned on me for the first time this week (obviously pretty slow), I'm sure they see something they like and just grab 8 of them. Plus, they are trying hard to have one-on-one child time this season, which is a great idea. I watch WAY too much Jon and Kate Plus 8.

Oddly, my mother refuses to watch it because she doesn't want to relive the days of toddler multiples. It made me feel a little guilty.

@Rhody: Of the women I know with many children (not even multiple births, just many babies) dress them all similarly. If you only have twins, dress them differently, otherwise I think you get a pass.

Is this birthday 44th for her, or 45th? Not that I think that age makes her an ancient crone, but I am impressed that a woman in her mid-40s, after an extensive working career, has the energy to faff about with her kids in the park.

@beeble aka 'sugartits': She's way, way smart (trained at Julliard; later got her master's in psychology, mostly for the hell of it) and supposed to be a real headache on the set - kind of a prima donna. Then again, that's what they say about any intelligent woman in Hollywood who isn't completely malleable and willing to dole out blowjobs to random producers (and who treats a job like a job, not a popularity contest), so take that last bit with about a carton of salt.

@dosido: I'm betting the people calling her a headache are certain vapid twit co-stars who are angry she won't talk to them about makeup and diamonds.

Those kids are seriously adorable. My BF wants kids, like NOW, and all these pictures of adorable kids are staring to wear down my resistence!

I love how happy she always looks around her babies, the way they don't have huge advertising logos emblazoned on their clothes, and the way she's always utterly involved in whatever they're doing.

Great mothering role model, I think.
