Hey, you guys! We noticed it too! We have ads now! American Apparel ads. Some of you think this is "hypocritical." Ummmm...we don't sell the ads! And given our history of being conflicted about shopping there, we might feel a little sheepish if we had to. But hey! That's the media business. Would you rather we took money from the coffers of the NRA or Blackwater? Okay sure, but they're not buying. Anyway, we've said this before, but: a lot of the money American Apparel saves exploiting fame-seeking young hipster girls for their distasteful soft-porny ad campaigns pays the salaries of manufacturing workers who work for living wages in LA. Oh yeah, and industrious bloggers like us. So: it's complicated. And we look forward to continue exploring the issue's complexities, uncensored, in future posts.
