Part of SaTC's distinction is the impractical, cartoonish wardrobe put together by costume designer Patricia Field, which at best, could be described as "inspirational." In this behind-the-scenes footage from the film, Sarah Jessica Parker says that Pat is so great at what she does because she knows NYC women so well. I don't spend much time uptown, but I'm pretty sure they're not wearing the looks Pat Field envisions for them. Also in the featurette, we get to take a peek at some of the outfits she's put together for the girls, as well as the wardrobe room, which looks more like a factory floor, it's so packed with clothing, shoes and accessories.
