In Johannesburg, South Africa, a woman on her way home from her job at a bar was wearing a short skirt when she was assaulted by drivers at a taxi stand. The cabbies stripped Nwabisa Ngcukana of her clothes, doused her with beer and paraded her naked. They were allegedly "teaching her a lesson" for wearing a skirt so short. Yesterday, hundreds of women marched to the taxi stand in protest... And they were all wearing mini-skirts.
