The logic behind this vintage ad is kind of wonky: Lady catches her hubs talking to "a strange woman" who turns out to be a corset salesperson. Affair paranoia diverted! "You see, Spirella lifts instead of squeezes," Mrs. Adams, the Corsetiere explains. And there are X-rays to prove it!
