A new study has found that women who give birth to boys are more likely to suffer post-partum depression than those who had daughters. Researchers from Université Nancy, France, have also found that women who had boys reported lower "quality of life scores" in 70% of cases compared with women who had baby girls — regardless of whether they suffered from post-partum depression. The scientists say further research is needed to find out why this happens. Think it has something to do with testosterone levels? [Telegraph, EurekAlert]
