Just in time for Valentine's Day, a piglet was born with a series of heart-shaped spots on him. Usually such biological anomalies are from places like Japan, where all things cute seem to originate, but this little guy is from a farm in Gloucester, England, and was given the appropriate name of Valentine. OHMAHGAWD, nom, nom!! Cutest pig EV-AH.
I was going to say I would eat that baby pig...but someone probably will.
Oh, golly. That's hilarious and cute.
SOME PIG.
Well I hate to make the comparison between myself and a pig, but I have a heart-shaped birthmark, though I was born on New Year's day.
"There has been a lot of interest because they are a fatty breed and it's a different taste to the normal type of pig - it's much more succulent."
Last sentence in the article.
As a meat-lover (and eater), I feel like a hypocrite here, but, uh...."some pig" or something to that effect?
Will he be spared for his cute hearts or will he simply be a big, fat, dirty, slovenly side of bacon when he leaves piglet stage?
I want that pig! How fucking cut is that?
@BAngieB: I was wondering if he's still going to be made into ribs and bacon when he grows up.
@hortense: Great minds....
The girl has an adorable smile, the pig has an adorable heart - mark. Teh cuteness, it keels meh.
@BAngieB: I'm envisioning a plate of bacon with little hearts all over it. cutest Valentine's Day breakfast ever!
All cute things originate from Japan?
Adorable. Come live with me piggy, I'm a veggie so your safe.
EEEEE!! Piggy!
That pig is going to get big and mean and the name Valentine will be totally laughable. As my dad used to say, "A grown male hog will eat a man."
I'm such a downer.
@hortense: RADIANT!
@Lady Skittlehattington: I have heard that male pigs can eat people, but I thought that was all too "Hannible"-like to be true.
Pigs. I always think of how I read that pigs will play with a ball if you put one in their pen, because they like to stay active and use their minds. They push it around with their snouts.
Then I get sad.
That is such a cute little piggy. Where is Charlotte when you need her?
@LipstickLibrarian: TERRIFIC!
mmmmmm - bacon.
holy shit that is the cutest - i love wittle baby piggies. i want to eat his face off.
Awwww, look at the little piggy! He's so precious. And the girl holding him is pretty cute too. This just made my dull afternoon.
@badmutha: It's true. Hogs will eat anything, including their own young.
This is why I don't like pigs. Always thinking with their stomachs.
Please tell me they are not going to eat that pig. Please let cutey pig end up in a petting zoo or on Mr. Zuckerman's farm.
ADORABLE! He's like a cross between a cow and piggie. :)
I heard if you sleep next to a piggie it'll eat your soul.
that is awesome! i wish i had a cool birthmark like that :) and i cant say nom nom nom... too real for piggy.
@Lady Skittlehattington: ever see Snatch? "Hence the expression, 'as greedy as a pig.'"
@AndSheWas: birthday thief!
@Lady Skittlehattington: I'll be more of a downer and note that he probably won't get very big and mean since he'll be 10 packages of bacon before his 2nd birthday...
@pizza: I think the farmer will take care of that soon enough, unfortunately.
Eat his face off, his rump, and his heart-decorated sides...
Oh, I'm an asshole.
@Jaguares: Through your chest, maybe.
@cupcakesofdeath: I have seen it, but I don't recall that part. I was busy trying to figure out what the fuck Brad Pitt was talking about.
@stacyinbean: And sausage. Don't forget sausage.
@Lady Skittlehattington: It's true. Hogs will eat anything, including their own young.
This is why I don't like pigs. Always thinking with their stomachs."
I believe that (they do eat garbage after all) but has that ever been tested or discovered?
@badmutha: Umm. Don't look up Pinkerton trial, if you want to keep your lunch. Canadian serial killer who 'disposed' of the bodies on his pig farm.
after that really long abortion/fetal pain discussion.. im seriously in the need of a cute little baby piggy. =)
How cute. It's a shame they taste so good.
@Lady Skittlehattington: P.S. What animal ISN'T capable of killing and/or eating its own young?
Especially if we're talking about the testosterone side of the bargain? How many species is it safe for fathers to be around the young (or even in the raising, if that's involved)? Wolves? Penguins? The occasional human?
Maybe domestic cats and dogs if they're really nice?
@marie123: What kind of a sick bastard would want to test such a thing?
It's true. I swear. I grew up on a farm. I'm not lying.
How sickeningly cute.
That'll do, pig. That'll do.
Ok, THAT'S what I want for Valentine's Day.
@cupcakesofdeath: Hmmm. Love Bacon.
@Lady Skittlehattington: No no, not test it.
But how would you figure something awful like that out--that a domesticated animal could eat someone?
I believe you, its not the first time I heard it.
Always creeps me out to consider that domestic animals aren't lacking a taste for human blood.
OMG you guys - [www.nuernberg.de]
@hortense: @marie123: @LipstickLibrarian: @sybann: @Captain_Morgan: @DramaClub: I love anyone who makes a Charlotte's Web reference.
@Hamsterpants: Ahhh, I saw that on cuteoverload....she's getting big.
@Trixie from Toronto: I feel the same way about babies.
stop the cuteness!!!! i can't handle it all!!!
@Hamsterpants: Now that's serious nomulence.
@marie123: I think because it's probably happened before. Someone fell into a feeding through or something equally ghastly. And some sick bastard decided that he must tell the world that it's possible for animals to want to eat humans. You know, as a public service announcement or something.
@marie123:
Sad fact to ruin all the wonderful cuteness: pandas often have multiple births, but baby pandas are so hard to take care of and require so much food and time that the mother usually abandons one as soon as she gives birth.
Uh..quick! Look at the cute pig and feel better!
@badmutha: My grandfather apparently would plop my unsuspecting father (when he was a kid) on the backs of grown pigs at his brother's farm, scaring the bejeesus out of him. Grown pigs are scary, man.
@Klassy: Pickton. and yeah. very graphic trial.
This is why I stopped eating pork- that and the fact that they are really smart and I would eventually like to have one for a pet. Surprisingly enough my bf accepts this, and has actually talked to people at work about it in a positive way.
Glad i'm a vegetarian. That is one cute pig. Come stay with me and Leiakat.
@hatepaperdoll: Yeah, I know. Pigs are very smart--reportedly smarter than dogs. Kinda upsetting, huh?
Why are you all talking about eating that precious baby? **covers ears so as not to hear anything more about bacon or sausage or ham**
Kinda want some sausage right now, though.
i want him.
