Is it even necessary to point out that the residents of The Bad Girls Club house are monumentally fucked up in the head? On last night's episode, Lyric, the aptly-named aspiring rapper, fessed up to the fact that her first father abandoned her, and her stepfather raped her, leaving her unable or unwilling to trust anyone. Then, when she went to her recording studio, the other girls mocked her efforts and talent (uh, she's totally talented — she rhymed "retarded" with "farted"!) And who the hell does Neveen think she is? She repeatedly calls the other girls ugly, and she always goes for the low blows. Why, why, why is it that some girls always resort to calling each other "slut" and "whore" for no reason while fighting? No guy would ever call another man a "pimp" or a "player" as an insult during a verbal disagreement.

this show is certifiably horrible and i can't stop watching. they call each other such horrible things every .001 seconds.
but i didn't understand why lyric took her shorts off and showed the record man her panties. that part was confusing.
Oh dear. Singing about stinky breasts and rapidly spreading infections is better than sex to her? Methinks Lyric needs a good shrink. And a good lover. In that order.
Yeah....why do women do that shit. Like i can't find any intelligent way to degrade each other.
I think all women should be thought how to propery insult each other in grade shcool so we can avoid the usual "slut" "whore"
It is hard to tell where the deliberate drama-inducing, entertaining-television minded, trying to get all the fame I can so I can sell trucker hats with my name on them reality star begins and ends with these girls.
Make sense of what I just wrote at your own risk - my brain is garbled today.
Tanisha is a TRIP! Actually, all of these girls are. The show is well-titled because they are, indeed, girls. I still can't seem to figure out why they've put these people in a house together.. It seems like something that would be a good idea if there were some sort of aim to make them better.. But it seems like all they're doing is providing free lodging and booze so they can go wild!
@tokenblackgirl: why isn't there a movement to get this show taken off the air? it's so degrading. no one would THINK of taking any other portion of the population and prancing them along on the TV just to show how reprehensible they are.
I like last season's bad girls more. They seemed more like women who just wanted to do their own thing, and fuck the world. This season it feels more like a house full of bitches trying to relive junior high.
I refuse to even watch the clip. These girls are morons. And every time I see the name Lyric, I think about how my white trash cousin named her kid that.
Also, the thought of guys calling each other "pimp" and "player" during arguments cracks me up. How hilarious would that be to watch?
@titania1285: @shiningstar: Let's not forget that this show, and the equally abhorrent and exploitive "Party Mamas", are supposedly on a network that "empowers women". Thanks, Oprah!
Woof. This show is proof that the system fails.
@titania1285: See Maury, Jerry Springer, et all...
I watched the second episode of this show and I was honestly appalled. I must be naive because I can't believe women really treat each other like that. Neveen and the blonde are the most pathetic. I just couldn't believe it. Sad.
Just cannot see anything of interest in this show. I try not to feed myself junk like that.
that show is a walking train wreck and i cant stop watching
P.H.A.T.
When the alchy from the first season blacked out an beat up a cast member fr no reason,I was entertained.
This is not funny. At all.
I thought it couldn't get any worse than the drunken fight in which a milk carton was used as a weapon a few weeks ago...
That Kardashian show with plastic Bruce Jenner is so much more entertaining. At least you can blame their horrid behavoir on their spoiled upbringing, or something. These women and their bizarre behavoir are just plain sad.
This installment of women are so fucked up and mean compared to the last season.
Neveen is a real piece of work, her desire to cause another pain and distress is totes sick in the head and only trumped when she says she is satisfied that her target/other girl breaks down and cries. She actually goes out of her way to torment these other women. What a sadistic, malicious, spiteful and ugly twat.
So....yeah...I can't stop watching either.
@elevendy: Yes, they are the worst. They are just nasty without being funny or witty or contributing anything other than pure nastiness for its own sake.
I have a pretty high tolerance for trash TV, but this show make me feel very dirty when I watch it. (And not in the good way.)
Thanks to this website, when I surfed by a marathon around Christmastime, my husband and I got sucked in! We couldn't stop watching, and I'm gonna have to TIVO it b/c I missed last night's ep. We couldn't figure out how they found these women - like, are they being punished and are sent to the house by their therapist/parole officer??
We said on normal reality shows, there might be one of these characters in the house. This show is full of the trainwrecks!! My worst nightmare would be to be stuck in a fucking house with a witch like Naveen.
But God this show is so fun to watch.
Yah, I can't really even watch this show, actually. I saw part of the 1st episode and felt dirty.
Until mankind is peaceful enough not to have violence on the news, there's no point in taking it out of shows that need it for entertainment value.
@athertonmerriweather: Cher always speaks the truth.
Lyric is not talented, and she's an idiot. Sisters who do the naturalistic, afro-centric, rocking ankhs (the Ethiopian Adinkra 'cross' that symbolizes life) and head wraps Badu-style rarely call themselves bad girls and act dumb as hell. She also talks about what a star she is, yet meets that big goofy "producer" on the street, and the very next day is laid out all in front him - he's so obviously trying to fuck and she is well aware.
Also, pimp and player are not insults, so why compare to whore and slut? Just wondering....
@athertonmerriweather: Right on, Cher Horowitz. Right on.
@titania1285:
Sadly, there will be no movement because the show is entertaining. THis country loves nothing more than putting on shows that show the worst female ever.
When was the last time you saw a reality tv show where the women weren't bitchy slutty and mostly towards members of their own sex?
The day shows that show normal everyday women(jezebel readers) happen is they day Huckabee becomes the president.
@biscuitdoughjones: Oxygen is NBCUni, no connection to Oprah. Neveen makes me ill. Did anyone else see the scene in which she claims to be perfect???
Well, I'm done my bread. Now I'm off to the circus.
@what's your poison: [www.oxygen.com]
I wouldn't say being one of the founders of the network = no connection.
@benevolent_dictatrix: What do they get out of it though? I can't wrap my head around it. These chicks make season 1 look like those Starting Over scamps.
@what's your poison: Perfect???...Yeah, perfect like that big doody that came out of my ass this morning. She's a piece of shit excuse of a person.
I learned something quite valuable from that clip: if it's human hair, then it's not fake. So good to know.
Yeah, this show is all sorts of atrocious.
@lolly71: Jesus, how many times can I use "more" in one comment?
Neveen is a local radio "personality" on one of those morning shows that styles itself as a retarded poor man's Howard Stern Show. If she's claiming to be "perfect", she must have lost her memory somewhere along the line...

@biscuitdoughjones: color me misinformed! I have a friend WORKING at Oxygen who was all "no, no Oprah connection, that's a common misconception" That's what I get for taking her word for it! Thanks for the info :)
@trayday: Well, I think that was the point of the comment, that "Player" and 'Pimp" are not considered insulting because they are typically used to describe masculine behaviors and are related to power and virility, while "Bitch" and "Slut," despite the best efforts of many to appropriate, continue to be disparaging because they refer to female promiscuity. The point is that they are ultimately the same thing, but women are the ones who are meant to feel shamed when burdened by this kind of adjective.
@templedrake: yeah, I hear what you're saying, but still don't agree. Yes, people have tried to flip the words 'bitch' or 'slut' to be cool or positive, and that appropriation has stuck depending on locale/geography, the kind of people using the word, etc.
But 'player' or 'pimp' have never been words like 'bitch' or 'slut'. You can say 'what up, player?' in school and not get disciplined - frowned upon maybe, but not in trouble.
Maybe it's where I'm from, but those words aren't really similar at all - not in this context.
@TWSS: OMG! That clip just made my day. She actually volunteered to be choked until she passed out!!
What.The.FUCK!
I've said it before, compared to the first season these bitches is ghet-to. The worst part is they're not remotely entertaining or funny, just fucking mean and ugly (ugly like cruel, not referring to beauty). I would love it if the "Bad Girls" went out one night and ran into some Jezebels - get educated, bitches!
Tanisha annoys the shit out of me! She is one of those whiny chicks who get real loud and say she's going to do something! I want the chick to jump since she always seems ready. Also, she waits for everyone else to get into arguements just to jump in. Retarded. Naveen hates soooo hard man its disgusting. When darlene made that face in the interview it was classic. BTW I think you can tell I love that show...
@BeAgrestic:
Obviously you missed the link below that of her eating cat poo. I need to go wash myself in bleach now. Yuck!
@biscuitdoughjones: So...if you buy a new car and sell it you are still responsible for the car? Really?? Weak argument. She was an initial investor in the network and sold out years ago. When you are no longer an investor you generally have little say as to what happens with your discarded asset.
Wow. It's like No Exit on crack and moonshine.
