We love Whitney and all, with her abbreviated, IM-esque speech, but last night's episode of The Hills, which focused primarily on her, was extremely boring. Jared the trainer asked Whitney to hang out for what seemed absolute nightmare of a first date — starting a hike at 10am on a Saturday, and then being ordered to do additional repetition-based exercises once they reached their destination. And then she agreed to hang out with him again later that night! The only date in the history of the world that seemed worse was when Bret Michaels took Rodeo and Brandi C. bikini shopping for their first date on Rock of Love. Next week looks much more promising, as Spencer's sister comes to town to start shit with Lauren, and JustinBobby kisses another girl!

The best part of the entire episode last night was when Whitney and Jared made it to the top of this cliff, looked over the smog-filled city and Jared said with complete sincerity, "Awesome view, huh?"
